I started my personal injury law firm on November 28, 2010 directly out of law school. Family, friends, professors, and classmates all thought I was crazy for starting my practice in the midst of an economic recession. But I knew there was a void for passionate legal representation for injured victims, and I was prepared to win at all cost and establish a premier personal injury law firm in the city that raised me.
My main objective is to build KIM LAW as a pillar of the metro Atlanta community. During law school, I worked as a summer associate for a boutique personal injury law firm, which represented clients who were injured in motor vehicle accidents. I also worked on the flips side for one of the largest insurance defense firms in Atlanta, which represented major insurance companies. Getting a taste of both sides, I recognized injured clients did not receive the same level of meticulous care and aggressive representation the insurance carriers benefited from its high-powered attorneys. I witnessed countless cases where plaintiffs accepted substandard settlements and quick payouts from insurance companies.

I hired attorneys and staff that bought into my philosophies and shared my ambitious work ethic. I focused my practice solely on personal injury cases. My firm does not handle immigration, bankruptcy, real estate cases, and dabble in a bit of personal injury work on the side.
KIM LAW handles personal injury cases and personal injury cases only. When a person has been killed or injured through no fault of their own, whether it is a car accident, motorcycle accident, tractor trailer accident, or slip and fall accident, I have dedicated my entire life to helping that person. I’ve seen it all. Mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters, have cried on my shoulder when their loved one was involved in a tragic, fatal accident. I fought by their side to deliver justice for their loss. I’ve maximized the value of a soft tissue whiplash case, and delivered six figure settlements when the insurance carrier initially offered $500 for pain and suffering at the onset of case before I was retained. And I’ve seen everything else in between from stitches, broken bones to paralysis and permanent brain injuries. I’ve been involved in countless cases and delivered tens of millions of dollars for my clients in the last decade.
In my personal opinion, the primary objective to operate a law firm is not for monetary gain. The sole goal of a personal injury law firm is to provide a useful service for the community. My law firm’s mission is to become the gold standard of personal injury law in the metro Atlanta area. I want KIM LAW to be an instantly and widely recognized brand known for its professionalism, performance, and passion. I hold my head high and stand proudly by the side of our clients. The people of Atlanta can count on me to fight zealously on their behalf. I will not rest until my clients are satisfied and my mission is complete.
